Ranch Days
The first Sunday of every month we host work parties and/or hikes on Nyland and/or Rancho Larios protected lands in San Juan Bautista. Everyone welcome!
Join us this July for a hands-on conservation adventure! We’ll be installing raptor perches at the Nyland dams—giving hawks, owls, and other birds of prey the perfect vantage points to hunt naturally and help restore ecological balance. Enjoy the wide-open landscape, learn about predator-prey dynamics, and take part in a project that directly supports wildlife and healthy land. Tools, training, and good company provided—just bring your sun hat and enthusiasm!
We at San Benito Agricultural Land Trust (SBALT) love to give you a chance to get out on the lands that you help to protect. Each month on the first Sunday, we spend a few hours doing a work project and/or going for a hike. Click on the button above to register for the next event.
